Kells Travels started as a small Instagram account back in 2015, during my first trip to Asia. I didn’t set out to build anything; I just wanted a place to share photos and little moments with the people back home.
A lot has changed since then. Life looks different, work looks different, and somehow I’m traveling even more than I used to. What hasn’t changed is how much I love exploring new places and then coming home and telling people all about them.
Over the years, I ended up writing travel notes and mini‑guides for friends and family after every trip — where I stayed, what I loved, what I’d skip next time. Now it feels right to put everything in one place as a resource that’s uniquely mine so more people can access it.
Everything here comes from first‑hand experience. Nothing fancy, nothing overly curated. I share honest (and pretty damn good!) advice from someone who travels a lot and wants to help people make the most out of their travels. Think of me like a friend who just got back from a trip and can’t wait to share the good stuff!
I’m starting small, keeping things simple, and seeing where it goes. If you’re here, thanks for being part of the beginning!
